Sodium1-naphthyl phosphate by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as 1-Naphthyl phosphate monosodium salt, this is derived from sodium and sulphonic acid. The reagent is available as a white powder which is soluble in water. It has a melting point of 189 191 C. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
Application::
Application. 1-Naphthyl phosphate monosodium salt monohydrate has been used as a non-specific phosphatase inhibitor in the splice correction assay in HeLa pLuc 705 cells. Preferred substrate for bioanalytical determinations of acid phosphatases, such as prostatic acid phosphatase.
