Product Description

The copper plating is applied exclusively by electroplating, done in electrolytic baths in which the object to be coppered acts as a cathode, while the anode is made of pure copper cathodes. ... In alkaline baths the electrolyte is a solution of the complex cyanide Na₃Cu (CN) 4.

Application

It is used for determination of blood sugar by Folin Wu's method. a) Deproteinisation: 1)Take 1 ml blood in a test tube. 2)Add 7 ml distilled water and 1 ml of 0.6 N H2SO4 and mix well.

Dose

Folin-wu tubes Distilled water Standard glucose solution. Protein free filtrate Alkaline copper reagent PMA reagent OD at 490 nm.
